ChurchPlaza chairs that come with frame color options are all made from a 16 gage 1010 cold-rolled steel foundation. This steel is heavy duty and just the right thickness to last 25 years without costing extra or weighing down the chair.
While many companies weld only 3 sides of each joint we do all 4 ensuring that the seat is strong. Because of this and our 1 inch weld lines ChurchPlaza welds and mandrel bends will support up to 1,700 pounds (1,000 pounds for the Jubilee PewChair™). Our frame is one of the strongest on the market and we urge you to compare it to others.
The excellence of ChurchPlaza chair frames does not merely stop at the metal used. All our plywood is high quality industrial grade ½ CARB 2 Certified. This material is much stronger than particle board, strand board, or other imitation plywood.
ChurchPlaza chairs use Stafast™ Steel-to-Steel fastening systems. These never slip systems have 5 times more holding power than wood screws and never work loose.
